In periodo estivo, parliamo della storia della competizione di vela più famosa al mondo: l’America’s Cup. In 1851, a group of New York businessmen sailed their schooner across the Atlantic Ocean to show it in the first ever World Exhibition in London. During their time in England, the boat, called America, participated in a race around the Isle of Wight organized by the Royal Yacht Club and managed to beat the English boat.
