July 2, 2016 commemorates the one year anniversary of the death of my precious granddaughter Aimee. Aimee was an extraordinary girl who inspired the lives of all those who knew and loved her. With each year of illness, she became more determined to fight harder and beat her leukemia. As we all know, God sometimes has other plans and decided she needed to help him in heaven.
Despite her short life of 13 years, she reached out to so many people and has left a mark in all of our hearts forever. We will all remember her beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile that lit up the room.
My granddaughter, Aimee, was the light of my life and continues to inspire me to be the best I can be every day.
