What will happen in the middle of July when UK will have the new heir to their centuries-old monarchy? This is one of the most debated topics on British and Commonwealth-media. We know, for example, that Kate will be the first Royal expecting mother to have a Baby Shower and William will be the first Prince that will have the chance to be in the delivery room when the time comes for his child to be born. It is also quite easy to learn that there are bets on everything that concerns the newborn. The sex (bookmakers bet on a girl), the name (Alexandra being the most popular choice, followed by Elizabeth and Diana) and a series of other details: the hour of the birth (12 to 1), the hair color (brown and blonde are strong competitors), the weight at birth (a little more than 3 kilos), how Kate will give birth (a C-section, according to the majority) and even which magazine will get the pictures (Hello! Magazine). How will the great announcement be given? It has lately been suggested that it will be given on twitter, which would be another great break in tradition. Indeed, the birth of Prince William was announced on a tiny piece of paper containing the basic information being placed on the closed gates of Buckingham palace. The many people waiting for it, Union Jacks in hand, shouted for the two lines to be read aloud and an American journalist finally did it.

Magazine).
